This is a back vintage from Whistling Eagle and shows all the hallmarks of the excellent 2010 vintage, quality winemaking and enjoyed it's time in the bottle.
There is earthen plum with old leather and dark chocolate on the nose, moving to a palate that has exceptional structure that pits primary plum fruits against secondary leathery notes and a baseline of restrained oak induced spice. The finish is long and drying with elements of earth the highlight.
