This is a very good Shiraz from 2011, with Scott Ireland making the most of a tough vintage in making an elegant and spicy pinot like shiraz that reflected what was provided by the vintage.
The nose has baking spices with earthy cherry and plum, the palate is medium bodied with dark cherry, spiced olive and grainy tannins that give texture. The length is very good with delicate spices, tilled earth and cherry.
