An impenetrable dark red in colour, the nose is perfumed with spiced plum , a touch of licorice and integrated french oak.
The palate is medium bodied with dark cherry and plum on entry that combine with drying powdery tannins and subtle licorice characters, the wine finishes with dark chocolate and dense plum fruit.
The 2011 Shiraz under the Dragonfly label represents excellent value and will greatly reward medium term cellaring.
