An inky dark red with youthful hues towards the rim, the nose is typical McLaren Vale with brooding dark fruits and a slight vanillin richness.
The palate is laced with dark chocolate, the tannins are layered,framing and in proportion with the wines dense plum core. There is good balance with a minerality and freshness to the wine. It is tightly coiled now but will unravel secondary complexity in years to come. Excellent length of dark fruits and spice to finish.
