2012 Condie Estate Max Shiraz

The Max represents a blend of the best barrels produced by Richard Condie, the wine is an inky deep red in colour,the nose is expressive and laden with oak induced spice and dark plum fruit. The oak is again evident on the palate, but is soaked up by some exceptionally good fruit. The tannins are firm and proportional to the concentration of the wine, the finish is drying and gives just enough of a savoury twist.

This is certainly one that can be put away.
