Bottled under screw cap the wine has reductive notes that quickly blow off, the nose is fruit rather than oak driven with a savoury expression of dark fruits on show.
The palate is medium bodied with flashes of white pepper supporting fuller dark fruits, oak is subtle, and the tannins drying. There are some enjoyable gamey aspects to finish.
