This wine is a fitting tribute to Trevor Mast, an age worthy example of Grampians Shiraz that sits comfortably at the right hand side of the Langi Shiraz.
The nose benefits from time in the glass, dark plum and blackberry get a white pepper dusting and show lifted baking spices.
The wine is medium to full bodied with supple plum and dark cherry at it's core, it soaks up quality French oak that will slowly evolve in time. The tannins are fine and textured, providing an interplay against the riper dark fruits.
Expansive length to finish, this will cellar for decades.
