This has to be one of the best value Shiraz's i have had for a while, the wine is produced from Estate fruit, having a nose that is more reminiscent of what you would expect from the Estate Shiraz with elegantly perfumed red fruits and generous wood spice.
The palate is balanced and bright, starting with raspberry fruit and filling out with denser dark fruits on the mid palate. Fine tannins and baking spices give complexity and contrast leading into a finish that balances primary fruit and winemaker induced oak.
This can be found at around $20 and represents great value.
