Tasting
The thing I like most about this rendition of Barossa Shiraz is the minimal oak, the wine is matured is seasoned French oak hogshead, ensuring fruit rather than oak dominates.
Heady dark plum and earth on the nose, the palate is fruit forward with drying, savoury and almost peppery tannins. There is just enough oak to give gentle spice and supple vanillin inputs. Exceptional length.
