I'm to believe that this wine has done some good things on the show circuit and it's easy to see why, there is big fruit and oak on the nose that one might expect from the region, but an earthen and licorice note that drives differentiation.
The palate is plush, confident and framed by beautifully textured tannins that are in harmony with plum and gentle wood spice. The finish sees the addition of some meaty notes that add to the enjoyment.
