This was tasted alongside the 2012, and similar to a number of wines in the Tokar Estate lineup the 13's are looking the goods. Primary raspberry strap and plum is backed by green olive on the nose.
There is some pretty impressive oak treatment in this wine, with oak induced spice a feature across the palate, the wine showcases bright red and black fruits against drying and savoury tannins to finish. The length is excellent.
