An impenetrable dark red in the glass, there is an array of dark fruits on the nose with beautifully ripe mulberry and blackberry the highlight, background notes of tar and graphite play a supporting role

The purity of fruit makes this a compelling proposition, the tannins are certainly drying but have a velvety aspect that works in concert with well proportioned acidity. To finish there is good length of mulberry fruit thats wrapped in a drying sheath of tannin.

A deeply satisfying wine that is defined by fruit rather than oak and more than warranted a standalone release.
