It's a surprise that this wine is 15.4 % alcohol, as it carries it well. It's a wine of two halves, the nose is laden with blue fruits; aromatic and floral, with the palate being full bodied and carrying a baseline of graphite / earthen tannin. In terms of fruit, the wine is very much in the plum spectrum, with drying black cherry notes coming through, a touch of oak richness adds contrast to finish.
