A smokey, savoury edged nose with generous plum and blackberry fruit. Oak is evident on the palate with a char and earthen thread that dominates the wine. The mid palate gives black fruits that are met by drying oak tannin that dries the mouth. Stylistically this is a big and bold expression of Barossa with all the trimmings that will win many fans, especially for the price.

Not for the faint hearted.
