A youthful red in the glass, the nose has an elegance of dark cherry and plum that's backed by crushed sage and cedar.
A medium bodied wine that has a softness of tannin and generosity of oak that works well with plum fruit that has an earthen side that creates a nice interplay with the wines sweeter notes in terms of both flavour and texture. The finish has fine but drying tannins and benefits from a dusting of oak spice before a return of dark berries to conclude.
