An inky deep red, even after 6 years from vintage. A heady mix of plum and blackberry fruit that is beautifully integrated with new oak that gives a chocolate and spiced influence.
A layered palate that melds dark berry fruits with a savoury backdrop of tannin that is laced with earth and chocolate, spice gives a sweetness to concentrated plum fruit with a faint lift of aniseed.
The finish is long and lingers with black cherry and bitter dark chocolate.
