Sourced from the cool climes of orange, this wine has structure, class and longevity written all over it. It's a concentrated wine that will unfurl over decades.
A dark red in the glass, the nose benefits from it's cool climate roots with savoury edged dark fruits and integrated French oak.
The palate provides concentrated dark cherry and plum, with fine but impactful graphite and earth laced tannins. Oak has been soaked up by commanding fruit but there are glimpses that add an elegant complexity in the background and will become part of the symphony in years to come.
The finish enjoys a layer of dark chocolate with driving length of plum that is accentuated by a taut acid structure; a suggestion of dried herbs lingers.
