A nose that enjoys the trappings of new french oak with a cedar and spice note to plum and black cherry fruit. The wine is full bodied and has a dark cocoa and earthen line of tannin supported by black fruits with a touch of graphite and some secondary leather notes making themselves known. The finish has a grippy and savoury texture that takes on some sappy tones from oak influence. Great value.
