Deep red in the glass with youthful purple hues towards the rim, the nose has an underlying savouriness that suggests whole bunch and works well with denser plum fruits and attractive iodine notes.

This is a quality Barossa Shiraz without the adornment of spicy or rich oak, allowing the fruit to show a more meaty aspect with a finish that coats the mouth with dark plum and blackberry and gives a suggestion of liquorice.

This isn't a Barossa blockbuster, instead it's an attentively made fruit focused wine that is a great point of difference in the region.
