There are two Shiraz's in the lineup from Noisy Ritual, one from Heathcote and the other from Geelong. Noisy Ritual is an urban winery that sources quality fruit from around Victoria and allows members of the public to craft the wines under the expert tutelage of local winemakers Cam Nicol and Alex Byrne.
An inky dark red in the glass, the nose is a tightly bound expression of blackberry and cherry with a touch of olive and cured meat.
The palate is primal, savoury and shows more dark fruits than red with blackberry and tart dark cherry, the wine finishes with kirsch characters and a touch of bitterness. Needs some time to evolve.
