A spice laden nose that combines with dark plum and blackberry fruit with an undergrowth note. The palate has racy acidity and bitter chocolate tannins at it's core with tightly coiled plum and dark cherry fruit making themselves known over time. The finish lingers with tart blackberry and just enough oak spice to add richness.

Will reward short term cellaring.
