A deep red in the glass, the nose has a richness from judicious use of quality french oak that gives the perfect base for plum and dark cherry to make their mark with support from floral violets and potpourri notes.

There is plenty of upfront vanillin oak that is soaked up by dark plum and ripe blackberry fruit, tannins have a graphite like note to them which is a great textural contrast, there is a return of floral red cherry to finish that rounds out what is an exceptionally attractive and moreish McLaren Vale Shiraz worthy of the price tag.

This will live for a long time.
