2016 Beklyn Shiraz

Beklyn or Pretty Brook' is the name of the property from which the grapes for this wine were sourced. This is the first time i've come across the label and am very impressed with what i've seen. There is a floral note to the black berry fruits on the nose that benefits from the seductive milk chocolate aromatics that McLaren Vale offers . A supple, substantial but balanced wine with an attractive core of bright acidity that underpins textural tannins. The finish is dominated by dark cherry fruit with a dusting of chocolate and spice and the faintest touch of leather.
