An inky dark red with purple hues. A nose of cured meat, plum, liquorice and oak. The palate has a generosity of spiced french oak that meets juicy primary fruit in equal measure. The oak input is a little overbearing with grainy oak induced tannin a little grating to finish when contrasted against youthful dark fruits.

Good value for money and enjoyable over the shorter term.
