This wine is sourced from the Freeman Vineyards in the Hilltops region, it's a wonderfully aromatic and pretty wine but has the structure and constitution to emphasise it's more savoury nuances in years to come.
The nose has a rose petal like aromatic to cherry, ripe plum and blackberry. Tannins are supple, but have just enough of a savoury thread that when pulled will unravel another dimension to the wine, there is understated liquorice notes that meld seamlessly with touches of oak spice. Integrated white pepper frames the finish that is generously black fruited.
