One of the more interesting labels i've seen in a while ! A wine made by a winemaker and not an accountant is the story on the label.
The wine has a dense, but youthful colour in the glass with striking purple hues. The nose is immediately identifiable as Grampians Shiraz with decadent heavy toasted French oak taking over after the initial varietal and regional expression.
The palate is shrouded in spicy oak, there is some nice plum and blackberry fruit that has enough concentration to carry the heady oak inputs, but it certainly needs some time to fill out and the generous oak to integrate.
