2016 Ulithorne Familia Shiraz

The name Familia (latin for family) is an acknowledgement of the three family owned vineyards from which the grapes for this wine were sourced. This is a pretty wine, gently spiced red cherry and plum give generosity on the nose, the palate is well textured with a lightness of acidity and tannin with pepper notes interjecting juicy red fruits. The finish has a web of fine tannins that benefit from baked rhubarb and plum, gentle spice is a lasting memory.
