This is the complete package, from it's cork finish and black wax capsule to the sleek, elegant label, but most importantly the wine in the bottle is exceptional.
As the name suggests the wine was produced from unirrigated vines with the wine aged in 60% new oak (50% French, 50% American). The wine has intensity but maintains an understated elegance with the potential to grow into something truly special in years to come.
An Inky yet youthful dark red in the glass with purposeful plum and raspberry fruit that's intertwined with generous oak spice and balanced by a touch of fresh earth.
A wine that is light on it's feet, but has an impactful punch. The concentration that builds across the journey with pristine dark berry fruits interjected by vanillin spice. The tannins are commensurate to the wines other faculties and give the perfect frame to support an embellishment of cherry cola and kirsch before the long dark fruited finish.
