A reductive nose with red berry fruits and some faint vanillin tones that sit behind. The palate is medium bodied with a compact backdrop of tannin and acid from which dark berry fruits show themselves and some gravelly earthen notes mix with richer spice influence. Length is good with drying fruit with the wine to continue to soften in years to come.
