Blackberry and plum with bitter dark chocolate on the nose; the palate is sweet fruited with generous black fruits that are supported by supple oak on the mid palate. Oak derived tannins are a touch bitter and drying to finish, but there is the fruit weight to carry it and food will certainly provide even more balance.
