The wine is produced from the Manjimup sub region in Geographe and is a very good example of what the region can do with Shiraz; the nose has richness and generosity of plum and blackberry fruit, with French oak adding layers of vanillin spice.
The palate is supple and almost decadent with milk chocolate and cedar that work alongside juicy plum fruit. Tannins have a savoury, almost charcuterie inspired edge and balance out the wines richer notes. The length is very good to finish with a sheath of oak and vanilla framing dark berry fruits.
