A preservative free wine, bottled in 500 ml bottles and sourced from three vineyards in Mudgee that also produced without any fining or filtration.
A pretty colour that is more purple than red, the nose shows shiraz without the adornment of oak with spicy plum and raspberry fruit.
The palate is juicy and primary fruited, with a well tuned balance between soft fruit tannin and generous acidity A dusting of pepper and herbs to finish with drying length.
Some great winemaking on show here, drink over the shorter term.
