2017 Mo Town Shiraz

This is a wine that reflects the vintage well, with the cooler year producing a wine that is dark fruited, but has a leaner and savoury demeanour that is becoming the hallmark of 2017. A glossy dark red in colour with the nose built around dark plum and blackberry with cedar spice and a touch of chocolate. The palate is lean and bristling with blackberry, there is a touch of bitterness but rounded oak gives support, the wine will grow with time in the bottle.
