A medium red in the glass with fresh earth, brambly dark cherry and plum on the nose. The palate works against a backdrop of old leather and earth with a fine but structural tannin profile. Finely tuned acidity gives focus and cellaring potential, with oak giving richness and contrast to the wines savoury disposition on the finish. The wine is sure to live for a very long time.
