2018 Gundog Estate Squire's Shiraz

A blend from Canberra and Hilltops that collectively have created a wine that combines the elegant cool climate structure Canberra district and the slightly fuller fruit complexity of Hilltops. The nose has benefited from rich spice and chocolate notes from new oak that has melded with plush dark berry fruits. The palate is medium bodied with tannins fine and lifted by crushed herbs, there is a density of plum and dark cherry fruit leading to a finish that folds in graphite, leather and cool earth.
