2018 Heartland Shiraz

A nose of plum and raspberry fruit with a dusting of cedar spice, the palate is medium to full bodied with juicy red fruits that combine with fine, almost tart tannin that underwrite plenty of future development. Oak is very much secondary with some faint liquorice tones to driving dark cherry and plum fruit. There is some richer chocolate characters to finish with depth and length to finish.

A $19 wine that will cellar well for the next decade.
