Inky red with youthful purple hues in colour, the nose shows glossy black fruits with plum cherry and blueberry leading the way, oak expresses itself in one part spice and another gentle chocolate. The palate enjoys some aniseed to plum fruit with oak giving generosity of texture and a suppleness to the wine. The vanillin impact is subtle and weaves itself amongst the wines medium to full bodied frame. The finish is generous, long and lingers with a melding of oak and fruit.
