Sourced from the close planted block of R6VW28 clone Shiraz, grapes were sorted and fermented as whole berries before being aged in French oak puncheons for 14 months.
The whole berry ferment has afforded a vibrant red with purple hues in the glass. The nose has plush plum and black cherry alongside pepper and a dusting of spice. The palate has finely knit tannins with faint bramble and earth but the impact of juicy dark and red berry fruits is undeniable with a gentle build of concentration; oak gives generous richness and vanillin spice with impressive length that is all about dark cherry.
