A youthful deep red with purple hues, on the nose dark plum is accentuated by earth, understated liquorice and oak derived spice. The wine is medium to full bodied and steeped in dark berry fruit; acidity is well handled and gives the wine flow and energy whilst tannins are compact with an earthen, textural edge. Length focuses on fruit and there are decades of development ahead.
