An inky but deep red in the glass. The impact of new American oak gives a sappy and vanillin lift that is set against plum and blackberry.
The palate has concentration and depth with drying black fruits at its core. Tannins are fine and have an earthen edge, with the mid palate giving more leather and cool spice to the fruit. The finish shows impact of oak with blackberry and plum lingering.
