A medium to deep red in colour with cool climate aromatics of cured meat, clove and fruit characters of plum and black cherry. The palate is supple and svelte with oak giving a veneer of richness and gloss to the tannins. Layers of black berry fruit enjoy pepper and savoury brown spices before the finish has length of plum with an embellishment of unsweetened liquorice and cardamom.
