The nose is a touch reductive with some earth and spice to black fruits. The palate has concentrated black cherry and blackberry with smokey, cedary oak given a herbaceous edge. Tannins are compact, with a taut backbone of acidity that works well with dark fruits that take on a pepper and deli meats. Will enjoy a few years in bottle.
