A medium red in the glass with a nose that has a floral lift to black cherry and plum fruit that has soaked up the influence of new oak. There is an enjoyable suppleness to the wine with breadth of gently spiced black fruits with a touch of chocolate. Tannins are superfine and acidity flows but is in great balance with respects to the fruit and will underwrite many years of development. The finish is more black cherry than plum with excellent length.
