Only 3600 bottles produced, from a 15 year old vineyard in Blewit Springs with 10% whole bunch and a mix of 2nd and 3rd year French oak.
The nose is dark fruited with plum and black cherry at the fore with background liquorice strap and faint cedar.
The palate enjoys a savoury nuance from whole bunch and lets fruit rather than oak shine. A medium to full bodied wine with dark plum lifted by dark chocolate; tannins are fine but firm, with acidity that ensures a long future whilst giving flair and depth at this point in the wines development.
