The wine is made using Appassimento method which has the grapes semi-dried on racks. It creates a wine of richness, whilst maintaining a lovely moreish structure.
Deep plum and black cherry have a lovely sweetness on the nose and are backed by faint cured meats and bramble.
The palate is defined by its fine lines of acidity and tannins that grow in impact through their earthen, dark chocolate influence. The fruit is generous and on the black side of the fruit spectrum. The finish is long and there is enough acidity to bring you back for another sip.
