Star Lane offers wonderful consistency and their Shiraz in particular is about structure and mouthfeel with dark cherry, plum and lifted cedar spice a constant. The 2019 is the most generous and fruit forward in recent years, but has the earthen, bitter dark cocoa backdrop that is common from the producer and gives contrast now and will underwrite further bottle development.
