A medium red hue in terms of colour with a nose that is framed by the influence of new oak with black cherry and plum, as well as top notes of olive. The palate has a wall of oak and tannin that doesn't let the definition of the fruit shine through. When you look hard there is olive and blackberry fruit however it is somewhat shrouded at this point. The finish is long and drying with graphite joining the dark berry fruit and oak.
