2020 3 Rings Barossa Shiraz

An inky deep red with purple hues, the nose has deeply concentrated blackberry and plum fruit with charred American oak influence. The wine is full bodied and has a core of dark cocoa and brooding black cherry and plum fruit; oak gives a savouriness to the wine but doesn't push things too far and the wine is almost moreish in terms of a saline like thread that works amongst the ripe fruit. As always, for the price point there is so much to like for those who enjoy big Barossa at a bargain basement price.
