2020 Curtis Cavaliere Shiraz

A deep but glossy red in colour, with a nose of black plum and earth that is lifted by milk chocolate and spice. The palate is full bodied but has texture and good finesse, the generous dark berry fruits are pure McLaren Vale with tannins taking on more of a dark cocoa savoury thread with understated influence of oak that is as rich as it is drying.

The finish is long and strikes a balance between fruit and oak. A very good effort from a tougher year that will reward medium term cellaring.
