There is a floral edge to beautifully concentrated plum and black cherry on the nose with oak providing an embellishment of spice that sits behind the fruit. The palate is generous, but balanced, there is a suppleness of dark berry fruits and a sheath of vanillin spice that is held in check by lines of tannin that take on both savoury impact and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish has such purity of fruit.
